Recap: What is an organic spa treatment?
An organic cleanse – whether as a juice cleanse or a shot cleanse – is a modern form of fasting. For a certain period, solid food is avoided, and instead, fruit and vegetable juices or organic cold-pressed shots, rich in superfoods (e.g., ginger or turmeric), are consumed. This relieves the body, and natural regeneration processes can be activated.
Why an I·DO organic cleanse? Our daily lives are often hectic. An organic cleanse can help you:
- Give your body a break (without solid food or with targeted nutrients).
- Support your microbiome (the gut flora can regenerate).
- Stimulate your metabolism (after 3 days, the body switches to fat burning).
- Establish new, healthy habits.
-
Why I·DO organic cleanses?
Our everyday lives can sometimes be quite exhausting. Stress at work, family appointments, household chores that need to be done. Amidst all this hustle and bustle, many of us forget to give our bodies what they really need. Yet, we know very well that an unbalanced and unhealthy lifestyle can negatively affect many areas of life.
Fasting is just the right thing for you if you are looking for new inner balance. With juice fasting, you don't completely forgo food, but instead supply your body with nutrients and secondary plant compounds using special juices.
This simple organic cleanse is ideal for taking a break from everyday life and learning the difference between hunger and appetite.

Intestinal cleansing
Fasting has a positive effect on your microbiome (gut flora) and intestinal lining. The gut flora can regenerate, which can contribute to better digestion.
Fat burning
On the third day, the body switches to fasting metabolism, meaning it draws more than 80% of its energy from its own fat reserves.
Once learned, the body can flexibly access this fat metabolism even after fasting. This is a great advantage for anyone who wants to lose weight sustainably.

Establishing new habits
Fasting is a great way to give up bad habits or permanently establish new routines.
Balancing the acid-base household
Our often hectic modern lifestyle and a diet high in sugar and highly processed foods frequently contribute to an over-acidification of the body. This can negatively impact our well-being.
A plant-based diet and fasting can help restore the acid-base balance.

Cleaning
By abstaining from food, you activate the body's self-healing powers.
Your body knows two metabolic programs: nutrient intake (eating) and non-eating (fasting). The first is used to supply all body cells with necessary nutrients, the second to cleanse and repair. During fasting, you enable your body to fully concentrate on cleansing and rebuilding.
To have a new experience: renunciation
Modern people living in industrialised countries barely have to do without anything: Almost everything is within reach at the touch of a button.
Voluntary renunciation means concentrating on the essentials in life again in order to gather strength for new horizons.
In the coming days, you will learn how such a time of renunciation can nevertheless become an enjoyable experience with our Organic Juice Cleanse or our Organic Shot Cleanse.

Possible side effects during a Safkur or Shotkur
It is completely normal to experience certain physical reactions during a juice cleanse – especially in the first few days. These are due to the elimination of toxins, reduced calorie intake, and the abstinence from coffee or sugar. They are usually temporary and no cause for concern.
Possible symptoms include: fatigue, hunger, mild headaches, nausea, diarrhea, nervousness, sleep disturbances, skin impurities, darker urine, more intense breath, increased sweating, and skin rashes or redness. An increased sensation of coldness may also occur – due to the absence of warm meals and the consumption of chilled juices.
The body enters a phase of rest and intensive cleansing. These reactions show that the detoxification is working. They do not occur in everyone and vary from person to person.
Listen to your body, take breaks, and slow down if necessary. These complaints usually subside with the end of the cleanse.
What happens in the body during a juice fast?
In total, you will completely abstain from solid food for several days. A preparation day and a reintroduction day round off your juice fasting experience.
Ideally, you should switch to light meals a few days before starting the juice cleanse – this will allow your stomach to better adjust to what's coming.

Preparing for Your Organic Chemistry Course
-
🥦 Prepare step by step!
With a few simple adjustments, you'll help your body optimally prepare for the juice cleanse (or shots) – so you'll feel great from day 1. Let's go!
-
📅 3 days beforehand: More plants, less stress
Eat more fruits and vegetables! Opt for seasonal, fresh produce. Raw food is ideal – it provides natural
enzymes that support your digestion.Drink plenty: At least 2 liters of water daily. Vitamin water with lemon, cucumber, or mint makes
it delicious and nutritious.Less caffeine: An alkaline state in the body is ideal for the cleanse. If you
love coffee, try cold brew or matcha – both are gentler
alternatives.Start a fasting diary: Write down how you feel, what you eat, and what you desire.
These foods are great now:
- Fresh fruits & vegetables, algae, mushrooms
- Legumes (lentils, chickpeas, beans…)
- Gentle carbohydrates like quinoa, rice, potatoes
- Gluten-free grains (oats, buckwheat, millet)
- Nuts and seeds
- Unsweetened plant-based milk (oat, almond, soy…)
-
📅 2 days before: decluttering
🚫 Avoid the following now:
- Alcohol & Cigarettes
- Processed foods & industrially manufactured foods
- Refined sugar (sweets, soft drinks, jam, pastries)
- Unhealthy fats (deep-frying oil, crisps, spreads…)
- Red meat, dairy products, cheese, cream
This way, your body can recover even before the cleanse.
-
📅 1 day before: keep it clean
- Less meat, fish, eggs
- Significantly reduce dairy products
- Avoid coffee and black tea
- Less gluten (white bread, pasta, cake)
Goal: A light, plant-based diet to gently prepare you for the cleanse (juice cleanse or shot cleanse).
👉 Remember: You can only do two things wrong: never start – or give up too early! And if you need support: We are here for you.
During biology class
-
Daily routine
- Start your day with a glass of warm water.
- Drink your juices or shots at regular intervals (every 1.5–2 hours).
What you can drink during the cleanse:
In addition to your juices or shots, it's important to drink enough. Here's an overview of what's allowed:
Water:
- Still water is your main drink (approx. 30 ml per kg body weight daily).
- Sparkling water is also allowed if you tolerate it well.
Teas:
- Unsweetened herbal teas like peppermint, fennel, chamomile, or ginger.
- These support digestion and soothe the stomach.
Broth:
- Clear vegetable broth (1-2 cups daily).
- Especially comforting and warming in the evening.
💡Ginger Tea Recipe:
Steep 3 slices of organic lemon and 6 slices of peeled organic ginger in 400 ml of boiling water for 5 minutes. The ginger can be used up to three times.
-
Consumption Information
- Drink each juice or shot mindfully and calmly. Sit down, take your time, and enjoy the aromas and consistency.
- Hold each sip in your mouth for a few seconds, as digestion already begins here.
- You can also enjoy your juice with a spoon, like a soup.
- If a juice tastes too intense or sour to you, you can dilute it with water. This does not change the nutrients but makes it more palatable.
-
🤔 Hunger or Appetite? Yes, there's a difference!
Yes, there is a difference!
- Hunger is a physical need for food.
- Appetite is the desire to eat something specific – often emotionally or habit-driven.
During the cure, you will develop a finer sense for these differences.
👉 If you really feel the need to chew, you can snack on some raw vegetable sticks, e.g., carrots or celery. No problem – listen to your body!

Activities to accompany your organic course
During your juice cleanse, your body will receive fewer calories than usual. Therefore, it is ideal to choose gentle and relaxing activities such as walking, yoga, or meditation. They promote physical detoxification and support your emotional balance.
🧘♀️ Yoga – Mindful Movement
Yoga brings you back to yourself – to your breath, your body, and your inner balance. The practice helps to: reduce stress, strengthen concentration and mindfulness, improve flexibility, balance, and posture
Yoga creates a positive body feeling and perfectly complements your juice cleanse – calm, mindful, strengthening.
🚶 Walking – Simple and Effective
Even 15 minutes of walking daily can promote digestion and improve your well-being (University of Washington). It: stimulates bowel activity, supports cleansing, clears the mind without causing fatigue
Since intense exercise is not recommended during a juice cleanse, walking is the perfect
activity.

🧘♂️ Meditation – Find Inner Peace
Meditation helps you to arrive in the moment and to let go of your thoughts. It brings: mental clarity, less stress and worries, more inner peace and stability
If you meditate during the cleanse, you will amplify the positive effects and experience a holistic reset – for body and mind.
🧖 Sauna and Steam Bath – Enjoy with Caution
Short, mild sauna or steam bath visits can be okay during the juice cleanse – but only if you feel well! Drink extra water before and after.

💡 Sports – Is it allowed?
Yes, but please gently!
During a juice cleanse, your body has less energy available as it focuses on detoxification and regeneration. Intense physical exertion can overtax your circulatory system and deplete your already reduced energy. Your body needs to adapt to the liquid diet and lower calorie intake.
What you should avoid:
- Intense strength training
- Long endurance sessions
- HIIT or bootcamp workouts
- Competitive sports
Therefore, prefer: light stretching, mobility exercises, calm walks. Avoid intense training – your body needs to adapt to the liquid diet and lower calorie intake.

💼 Working during a juice cleanse?
Yes! Many people successfully complete their juice cleanse during the work week. The key is good planning and conscious management of your stress levels.
Here's how to make it work in your daily work life:
- Plan ahead: Bring your juices to work (cooler bag!)
- Communicate: Inform colleagues that you're currently doing a juice cleanse
- Reduce stress: Don't plan important presentations or deadlines for the first 1-2 days
- Use breaks: Go for a short walk during your breaks

Juice Fasting Tip
Choose calm, predictable days to start your organic juice cleanse. It's best to make sure you don't have any important appointments, celebrations, or other obligations on the first two days. Starting on a Friday with the preparation day before a quiet weekend has proven to be an ideal starting time for many juice cleanse fans.

AFTER THE ORGANIC CURE
-
Congratulations – you've completed your juice cleanse! 🎉 The intense days are behind you – full of insights and new impulses. Be proud of yourself!
But beware: The cleanse isn't quite over yet! The reintroduction phase is crucial to benefit from the cleanse in the long term. Now it's about gently reintroducing solid food to your body and starting a new routine.
-
🌱 The first few days after the retreat:
In the 3 to 4 days after the juice cleanse, your digestive system should slowly start up again. Give your body time!
Opt for easily digestible foods: Clear soups, Steamed vegetables, Fresh fruit, Raw food, Homemade smoothies, Rice.
Introduce only one new, more complex food each day, e.g.: Gluten-containing products (bread, pasta, cakes...), Animal proteins (meat, fish, eggs, dairy products), Tea and coffee.
Stay well hydrated! Drink plenty of water or lemon water and continue to enjoy herbal teas. Vegetable juices remain a great extra, but they do not replace water.
What to avoid in the week after the cleanse. For your cleanse to take full effect, avoid the following for a few more days:
- Sugary products: Sweets, sodas, chocolate, jam...,
- Fatty & highly processed products: Chips, fast food, ready-made sauces, cold cuts, pizza...,
- Alcohol and nicotine.
Use the opportunity for new habits. These days after the cleanse are ideal for establishing new healthy routines. Perhaps you managed to cut out caffeine, alcohol, or sugar? Keep it up! Listen to your body and adjust your diet to your needs. Most importantly: Be patient and kind to yourself. A new chapter begins!
