Your I·DO Team

The key to life is balance

  • Recap: What is an organic cure?

An organic cleanse – whether a juice cleanse or a shot cleanse – is a modern form of fasting. For a specific period, solid food is abstained from, and instead, fruit and vegetable juices or organic cold-pressed shots, rich in superfoods (e.g., ginger or turmeric), are consumed. This relieves the body and can activate natural regeneration processes.

Why an I·DO organic cleanse? Our everyday lives are often hectic. An organic cleanse can help you:

    • Give your body a break (without solid food or with targeted nutrients).
    • To support your microbiome (the gut flora can regenerate).
    • To boost your metabolism (after 3 days the body switches to fat burning).
    • To establish new, healthy habits.
  • Why the I·DO organic treatments?

Our everyday lives can sometimes be quite exhausting. Stress at work, family appointments, household chores that need to be done. In all the hustle and bustle, many of us forget to give our bodies what they truly need. Yet we know very well that an unbalanced and unhealthy lifestyle can negatively impact many areas of our lives.

Fasting is perfect for you if you're looking for renewed inner balance. With juice fasting, you don't completely abstain from food, but rather supply your body with nutrients and phytochemicals through special juices.

This simple organic diet is ideal for taking a break from everyday life and learning the difference between hunger and appetite.

Colon cleansing

Fasting has a positive effect on your microbiome (gut flora) and intestinal lining. The gut flora can regenerate, which can contribute to better digestion.

Fat burning

On the third day, the body switches to fasting metabolism, i.e., it supplies itself with more than 80% of its energy from its own fat reserves.

Once learned, the body can flexibly access this fat metabolism even after fasting. A major advantage for anyone who wants to lose weight sustainably.

Establish new habits

Fasting is a great way to break bad habits or establish new routines permanently.

Balancing the acid-base balance

Our often hectic modern lifestyle and a diet high in sugar and highly processed foods frequently contribute to an over-acidification of the body. This can negatively affect our well-being.

A plant-based diet and fasting can help restore the acid-base balance.

cleaning

By abstaining from food, you activate the body's self-healing powers.

Your body has two metabolic programs: nutrient intake (eating) and non-eating (fasting). It uses the first to supply all body cells with necessary nutrients, and the second to cleanse and repair. During fasting, you allow your body to fully concentrate on cleansing and rebuilding.

Have a new experience: renunciation

Modern people living in industrialized countries have almost nothing to do without: virtually everything is within reach at the touch of a button.
Voluntary renunciation means refocusing on the essentials in life in order to gather strength for new horizons.
How such a period of abstinence can still become an enjoyable experience will be explained to you in the coming days with our organic juice cleanse or our organic shot cleanse.

Quote

  • "Fasting is the food of the soul. Just as physical food strengthens the body, so fasting makes the soul stronger and gives it flexible wings, lifts it up, and allows it to reflect on heavenly things."

    John Chrysostom

Possible side effects during a juice or shot cure

It is perfectly normal to experience certain physical reactions during a juice cleanse – especially in the first few days. These are due to the elimination of toxins, the reduced calorie intake, and the absence of coffee or sugar. They are usually temporary and nothing to worry about.

Possible symptoms include: fatigue, hunger, mild headaches, nausea, diarrhea, nervousness, sleep disturbances, skin blemishes, darker urine, rapid breathing, increased sweating, and skin rashes or redness. Increased sensitivity to cold can also occur – due to avoiding warm meals and consuming chilled juices.

The body enters a phase of rest and intensive cleansing. These reactions indicate that the relief process is taking effect. They do not occur in everyone and vary from person to person.

Listen to your body, take breaks, and slow down if necessary. These symptoms usually subside once the treatment is complete.

What happens in the body during juice fasting?

Overall, you'll completely abstain from solid food for several days. A preparation day and a recovery day round out your juice fasting experience.
Ideally, you should switch to light food a few days before starting the juice cleanse – this way your stomach can better prepare for what is to come.

  • Preparation day

  • Fasting day 1

  • Fasting Days 2 & 3

  • fasting day 4

  • Fasting days 5 & 6

  • Construction day

The preparation day marks the beginning of the fasting cure and signals to the body that something new is about to happen. Below, we've explained what happens in your body during the five fasting days.

The sugar reserves (carbohydrate stores) are emptied and the protein stores in the liver are converted into energy.

Day 2: The body demands food because it senses that no external energy supply is coming in. This can lead to a natural feeling of hunger.

Day 3: The body switches to fasting metabolism (often referred to as ketogenic metabolism). It now produces sugar substitutes from your fat reserves to provide your body with sufficient energy. From now on, over 80% of the energy required is derived from fat reserves.

By now, you've most likely reached a stable state of autophagy. This means your body has already adjusted its metabolism and is now supplying you with nutrients—in addition to the beneficial fluids—exclusively from its own fat reserves.

Day 5: Nutrients are now obtained solely from the juices. Look forward to the fasting high that follows.
Day 6: The final day of abstinence. Your body has long since entered autophagy. Nothing can stop you now.

After the change has taken place in the body, most people feel significantly better and the body begins to release happiness hormones.

Preparing for your organic treatment

  • 🥦 Prepare step by step!

With a few simple adjustments, you can help your body prepare optimally for the juice cleanse (or shots) – so you feel great from day one. Let's go!

  • 📅 3 days before: more plants, less stress

Eat more fruit and vegetables! Focus on seasonal, fresh produce. Raw food is ideal – it provides natural nutrients.
    Enzymes
    that support your digestion.

Drink plenty of fluids: at least 2 liters of water daily. Vitamin water with lemon, cucumber, or mint is a great option.
The whole thing is delicious and nutritious.

Less caffeine: An alkaline state in the body is ideal for the treatment. If you
If you love coffee, try cold brew or matcha – both are gentler.
    Alternatives.

Start a fasting diary: Write down how you feel, what you eat, and what you wish for.

These foods are great right now:

    • Fresh fruit & vegetables, algae, mushrooms
    • Legumes (lentils, chickpeas, beans…)
    • Gentle carbohydrates such as quinoa, rice, potatoes
    • Gluten-free grains (oats, buckwheat, millet)
    • Nuts and seeds
    • Unsweetened plant milk (oat, almond, soy…)
  • 📅 2 days before: unnecessary throwing out of stuff

    🚫 Avoid this now:

    • Alcohol & Cigarettes
    • Ready-made products & industrially processed foods
    • Refined sugar (sweets, soft drinks, jam, pastries)
    • Unhealthy fats (frying oil, chips, spreads…)
    • Red meat, dairy products, cheese, cream

This allows your body to recover before the treatment.

  • 📅 1 day before: keep it clean

    • Less meat, fish, eggs
    • drastically reduce animal dairy products
    • Avoid coffee and black tea
    • Less gluten (white bread, pasta, cakes)

Goal: A light, plant-based diet that gently guides you into the cleanse (juice cleanse or shot cleanse).

👉 Remember: There are only two things you can do wrong: not starting at all – or giving up too soon! And if you need support: We're here for you.

During the organic treatment

  • Daily routine

    • Start your day with a glass of warm water .
    • Drink your juices or shots at regular intervals (every 1.5–2 hours).

What you can drink during the treatment:

Besides your juices or shots, it's important to drink enough fluids. Here's an overview of what's allowed:

    Water:

    • Still water is your main drink (approx. 30 ml per kg of body weight daily).
    • Sparkling water is also allowed if you tolerate it well.

    Teas:

    • Unsweetened herbal teas such as peppermint, fennel, chamomile or ginger.
    • These aid digestion and soothe the stomach.

    Broth:

    • Clear vegetable broth (1-2 cups daily).
    • Especially soothing and warming in the evenings.

    💡 Ginger tea recipe :

Steep 3 slices of organic lemon and 6 slices of peeled organic ginger in 400 ml of boiling water for 5 minutes. The ginger can be used up to three times .

  • Consumption guidelines

    • Drink each juice or shot mindfully and calmly . Sit down, take your time, and enjoy the aromas and texture .
    • Hold each sip in your mouth for a few seconds , because that's when digestion begins.
    • You can also enjoy your juice with a spoon , like soup.
    • If a juice tastes too strong or acidic for you , you can dilute it with water. This doesn't change the nutrients , but it makes it more palatable.
  • 🤔 Hunger or appetite? Yes, there is a difference!

    Yes, there is a difference!

    • Hunger is a physical need for food.
    • Appetite is the desire to eat something specific – often driven by emotion or habit.

During the treatment, you will develop a finer sense for these differences .

👉 If you really feel the need to chew , you can snack on some raw vegetable sticks , e.g., carrots or celery. No problem – listen to your body !

Activities to accompany your organic health retreat

During your juice cleanse, your body receives fewer calories than usual . Therefore, it's ideal to choose gentle and relaxing activities such as walking, yoga, or meditation . These promote physical detoxification and support your emotional balance .

🧘‍♀️ Yoga – Conscious Movement

Yoga brings you back to yourself – to your breath , your body , and your inner balance . The practice helps to: reduce stress, strengthen concentration and mindfulness, and improve flexibility, balance, and posture.

Yoga creates a positive body image and is a perfect complement to your juice cleanse – calm, mindful, and strengthening.

🚶 Walking – Simple and effective

Even just 15 minutes of walking a day can promote digestion and improve your well-being ( University of Washington ). It: stimulates bowel activity, supports cleansing , and clears your head without causing fatigue.

Since intense exercise is not recommended during a juice cleanse, walking is the perfect alternative .
Activity

🧘‍♂️ Meditation – Finding inner peace

Meditation helps you arrive in the present moment and let go of your thoughts . It brings: mental clarity, less stress and worry, more inner peace and stability.

If you meditate during the treatment, you will enhance the positive effects and experience a holistic reset – for body and mind .

💡 Sport – Is that possible?

Yes, but please be gentle!

During a juice cleanse, your body has less energy available as it focuses on detoxification and regeneration. Intense physical exertion can overtax your circulatory system and further deplete your already reduced energy reserves . Your body needs to adapt to the liquid diet and lower calorie intake.

What you should avoid:

  • Intensive strength training
  • Long endurance sessions
  • HIIT or bootcamp workouts
  • competitive sport

Therefore, favor : light stretching, mobility exercises, and leisurely walks. Avoid intense training – your body needs to adapt to the liquid diet and reduced calorie intake.

💼 Working during a juice cleanse?

Yes! Many people successfully complete their juice cleanse during the workweek. The only important things are good planning and consciously managing your stress levels.

Here's how it works in everyday work:

  • Plan ahead: Bring your juices to work (cooler bag!)
  • Communicate: Inform your colleagues that you are currently doing a juice cleanse.
  • Reduce stress: Don't schedule any important presentations or deadlines for the first 1-2 days.
  • Make the most of your breaks: Take a short walk during your breaks.

Juice fasting tip

Choose quiet, predictable days to start your organic juice cleanse. Ideally, avoid scheduling any important appointments, celebrations, or other commitments on the first two days. Many juice cleanse enthusiasts have found that starting on a Friday before a relaxing weekend with the preparation day is the ideal time to begin.

AFTER THE ORGANIC TREATMENT

  • Congratulations – you've completed your juice cleanse! 🎉 The intense days are behind you – full of insights and new inspiration. Be proud of yourself!

But be aware: The cleanse isn't quite over yet! The reintroduction phase is crucial for long-term benefits from the cleanse. Now it's about gently accustoming your body to solid food and starting a new lifestyle routine.

  • 🌱 The first days after the treatment:

Your digestive system should gradually return to normal in the 3 to 4 days following the juice cleanse. Give your body time!

Prefer easily digestible foods: clear soups, steamed vegetables, fresh fruit, raw vegetables, homemade smoothies , rice.

Introduce only one new, more complex food each day.
    Examples
include: gluten-containing products (bread, pasta, cakes…), animal proteins (meat, fish, eggs, dairy products), tea and coffee.

Stay well hydrated! Drink plenty of water or lemon water, and continue to enjoy herbal teas. Vegetable juices are a great extra, but they don't replace water.

What you should avoid in the week after the treatment. To ensure your treatment has its full effect, refrain from the following for a few more days:

    • Sugar-rich products : sweets, soft drinks, chocolate, jam…
    • Fatty and highly processed products : chips, fast food, ready-made sauces, sausages, pizza…

Take advantage of this opportunity to develop new habits. These days after the cleanse are ideal for establishing new, healthy routines . Perhaps you've already managed to give up caffeine, alcohol, or sugar? Keep going! Listen to your body and adjust your diet to your needs. Most importantly: Be patient and kind to yourself. A new chapter is beginning!
