What could be nicer than popsicles on a hot summer day? Exactly, healthy popsicles – or as a hipster would say: nice cream! Nicecream is a healthy trend that we're excited to be part of. Ice cream is made with simple, sugar-free and chemical-free food, so that you can eat a lot of it without a guilty conscience. Blogger Isabella ( @easyherbst ) shared her recipe with us. You can make both creamy ice cream for spooning and popsicles.
In principle, you only need one ingredient for cold-pressed popsicles: an I DO cold-pressed juice . You can refine the whole thing by pureeing and adding a fruit of your choice.
My popsicles go like this:
- 1 I DO Just Beet it
- 1 I DO Liquid Salad
- ½ orange
- 2 pieces of chocolate
- berries to decorate
Puree the orange in the blender and add half to the juices and shake well. Now pour the juice into ice cream molds so that you have a few green popsicles and a few red popsicles. Now the whole thing is deep-frozen for a few hours.
When the ice cream has set, melt the chocolate in a water bath and use a teaspoon to spread thin strips over the finished popsicles. Now decorate with berries before the chocolate hardens and enjoy.
Best regards
