Rund 19 Kilogramm Äpfel essen die Deutschen im Durchschnitt pro Jahr. Das macht das Kernobst hierzulande mit großem Abstand zur beliebtesten Obstsorte. Und wer einen Apfel essen möchte, hat die Qual der Wahl: Etwa 1.500 verschiedene Sorten wachsen in Deutschland. Weltweit sind es sogar ca. 4.500. Für unsere I·DO Säfte verwenden wir vor allem Granny Smith und Golden Delicious, um den Geschmack im optimalen Zusammenspiel mit den anderen Zutaten zu verfeinern.

Die Deutschen sind wahre Zitronen-Fans – insgesamt verzehren wir jährlich mehr Zitronen als Frankreich und Großbritannien zusammen. Die Zitrusfrucht stammt ursprünglich wahrscheinlich aus dem Norden Indiens und kam im Laufe des 16. Jahrhunderts nach Deutschland. Biologisch gesehen entstand die Zitrone aus einer Kreuzung zweier Zitrusfrüchte: Der Bitterorange und der Zitronatzitrone.

Die Ingwerknolle mit ihrem angenehm scharfen Saft gehört inzwischen zum festen Repertoire bei I·DO. Für unsere Bio Rohkostsäfte verwenden wir die intensiv schmeckende Wurzel des Ingwergewächses. Beheimatet ist der Ingwer hauptsächlich in subtropischen Gefilden und deren Hochebenen. In Europa ist die Ingwerwurzel als Nahrungs- und Heilmittel bereits seit dem 9. Jahrhundert bekannt und beliebt.

Die erfrischende Pfefferminze sorgt aufgrund ihres hohen Mentholgehalts für das bekannte, erfrischende Mundgefühl. Beliebt ist die Heilpflanze außerdem als Tee, bei dem getrocknete oder frische Blätter mit heißem Wasser übergossen werden. Doch auch in Cocktails, Süßigkeiten oder in orientalisch angehauchten Gerichten findet Minze Verwendung. Auch für viele Kosmetikartikel, Zahnpasta und anderen Körperpflegeprodukten führt kein Weg an der Minze vorbei. Selbst im alten Ägypten wurde Minze bereits in Sarkophage der Pharaos gelegt, um diese auf ihrer letzten Reise zu beschützen.

I·DO organic juices and ginger shots are ultra-fresh, 100% organic and never heated. The fruit and vegetables in our premium raw food products are freshly harvested and pressed every week. Most of the ingredients are grown exclusively for us in controlled organic quality. Whenever possible, we work with local farmers and cooperatives in the immediate vicinity of our production facility in Spain. Short distances and small batches ensure excellent product quality and the smallest possible ecological footprint.

How is it delivered?

Always freshly chilled with a cooling pack. Your package will usually be with you after two to four working days.

How long do I·DO organic juices keep?

I·DO organic juices are preserved using the HPP process. As a rule, the products can be kept for several weeks - but at least 10 days - after leaving the warehouse.

Where can I return the deposit?

The bottles made from recycled PET are part of the deposit system. You can in every supermarket and at every point of sale throughout Germany return with other deposit products.
