Pineapple Passion (6 x 240ml)

One of the most popular tropical fruits. Cute and beautiful to look at, pineapples will never go out of style - and rightly so. Also known as the “Queen of Fruits” because of the crown of leaves, the pineapple probably originated in Brazil and Paraguay and has taken Europe by storm since its discovery in the 16th century. The sweet, aromatic flesh of the fruit is hidden under a prickly skin and is ideal as a raw food snack, for desserts and, of course, for freshly squeezed juice.

The Germans are true lemon fans - all in all, we consume more lemons each year than France and Great Britain combined. The citrus fruit probably originally comes from northern India and came to Germany in the course of the 16th century. Biologically, the lemon came from a cross between two citrus fruits: the bitter orange and the citron.

Closely related to passion fruit, passion fruit is a real vitamin C bomb. Although passion fruit and passion fruit both belong to the passionflower family, they are two different plants. In contrast to the maracuja with a yellow-greenish skin and a dark orange interior, the passion fruit is violet on the outside and bright yellow on the inside. Their jelly-like pulp tastes aromatically sweet and their degree of ripeness can be recognized by a shriveled shell. Originally from Central and South America, the passion fruits are climbing plants with tendrils up to ten meters high and grow primarily in tropical areas.
