My first I·DO juice cleanse: A review

Antidote Cleanse

Our good friend and customer Julia has just completed her first I·DO Cleanse and was kind enough to share her experiences with us. We are happy that, after a few initial difficulties, she really enjoyed it. But simply read for yourself...

Hello everyone, I'm Julia, 23 years old and a law student in Munich. All in all, I would describe myself as a nutrition-conscious person. I always pay attention to what I eat – the quality must be right, and it shouldn't be too heavy. I have already looked into the topic of detox a bit, and I have also completed a therapeutic fast. However, the topic of juice cleanse is quite new to me. When I heard that my friends were now making their own juice, I couldn't miss the opportunity to try it out. I would like to share my experiences with you. For this purpose, I kept a little diary during my cleanse, which I would now like to present here.

Day 1 Weight: 53.0 kg
I feel very well after my first day and don't have a strong feeling of hunger yet, but I am a little colder than usual and a certain tiredness is setting in. This allowed me to fall asleep very quickly. I'm excited for tomorrow.
Day 2 Weight: 52.2 kg
Today I am really motivated, but already in the morning, I have slight concentration problems while working on my seminar paper. When my boyfriend prepared a delicious dinner, I became quite envious. I also took some Schüssler salts. Unlike yesterday, I had some trouble falling asleep. I hope it will be easier again tomorrow.
Day 3 Weight: 51.0 kg
After the first juice in the morning, the hunger was gone, but the concentration problems are still present. Towards noon, I became a little shaky, which extended to a really exhausted feeling in the afternoon. It looks like it's not a really good day again today.

Unfortunately, I had to stop this cleanse due to persistent concentration problems. My seminar paper has to be finished - that comes first! After submission, I will attempt another five-day I·DO Cleanse and hope that it will be easier then. The first conclusion is probably that you really have to give yourself and your body some time; I thought it would be easier for me. After a short break of a few days and the submission of my seminar paper, I want to try a 5-day juice detox again. Let's see how it goes this time without all the stress...

Day 1 Weight: 53.3 kg
I felt very well all day, is it because of the free time or the juice? So far, no feelings of hunger have occurred, but I'm a little colder than usual again - I'm really shivering.
Day 2 Weight: 52.0 kg
Today I feel completely balanced, fit, and full of energy, let's see what this day brings - I'm going out now. In the afternoon, hunger struck again, but I easily made it through until the evening. The Johnny Cashew really hit the spot, and I was able to go to bed full and sleep well.
Day 3 Weight: 51.5 kg
Since I'm out and about a lot today, I'll keep it short: I feel really great, no comparison to the third day of the first attempt. Somehow, the Gingerade doesn't go down that well for me. I'm really looking forward to the next Pineapple Express - so far, it's definitely my favorite!
Day 4 Weight: 50.0 kg
I still feel great! The cravings seem to be slowly subsiding - my body seems to be getting used to it all.
Day 5 Weight: 49.7 kg
Today I got up very early and am really looking forward to the juices. It's strange that it was so easy for me this time - I'm still proud to have done it by the evening. I'm still not in the mood for a hearty meal; I'll probably just stick to some salad for now.

Conclusion of the days after the Cleanse:

I have to say, I really miss the juices! Even though I'm eating again now, I have no complaints. My friend complained about slight stomach problems after her cleanse, but I have no trace of that. I couldn't really notice any change in my skin and hair. All in all, the cleanse was a great experience for me - definitely easier and tastier than the last therapeutic fast! I think I will definitely do it again, maybe for more than five days next time. There was a huge difference between my first attempt and the time I actually went through with it.

So my tip is to ensure some peace and quiet and avoid stressful activities.

Thanks to the I·DO guys, I will definitely recommend you!
